The “Greater Chennai Registered Engineers’ Association” having a member strength of more than 350 and totally more than 850 Engineers are practicing in Municipalities, Townships, Panchayat Unions under the Chennai Metropolitan Area and It is functioning their office at Egmore to educate their members through taking seminars and technical class on online approval process and to represent the issues to the concerned officials.
This Association often organize events such as technical training and awareness programmes and provide opportunities to know about government orders and circulars for their members to connect with each other, share knowledge and experiences and build relationships.
This Association engage in advocacy and lobbying efforts to influence puplic policy and regulations that affect their profession such as Regularization schemes and Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules 2019.
As an association can involve working with government officials, policy makers and other stake holders to promote the interests of their members.
